Quarterlies
Starting with the first quarter of 2026 (shipped in November), we will transition our beginners, kindergarten, primary, and junior lessons to quarterlies.
You don't need to do anything to switch — if you currently receive lessons, you will automatically begin receiving the quarterly booklets.
We know that for various reasons some will still prefer individual weekly lessons. If this is your preference, please contact us so we can change your order accordingly.
Q&A regarding quarterlies

Will Upstream be released in a quarterly?
No. Upstream will remain in individual lessons.

Will the beginners, kindergarten, primary, and junior quarterlies cost more?
No. The quarterlies actually cost us less to produce than the individual lessons.

Will the individual lessons for beginners, kindergarten, primary, and juniors still be available?
Yes. For the foreseeable future, you can still order individual lessons.

Will there be any price changes?
Not at the moment. One of the reasons we have switched to quarterlies is to prevent raising prices.

Will the artwork be changed in the quarterlies?
Some of the artwork will be updated for newer pictures, but the realistic style will remain the same.

Will the content be changed in the quarterlies?
No. The content is the same.
New Youth Lessons
Starting with the first quarter of 2026 (shipped in November), we will release brand-new youth lessons. Each lesson is divided into daily segments (Sunday–Friday), and every lesson includes a takeaway point and an action item.
Q&A regarding the new youth lessons

Will the new youth lessons replace Upstream?
No. You need to OPT IN to receive the new youth lessons. You may download a sample from the Youth Bible Lessons page. If you choose to opt in, please order here or email sales@mybiblefirst.org or call 423-771-9228. Please note, ordering the new youth lessons will not automatically discontinue your Upstream subscription. If you wish to discontinue your Upstream subscription, be sure to let us know by phone or email.

Why did you decide to change the youth lessons?
We are not discontinuing Upstream. However, many have asked for shorter youth lessons divided into daily segments. To meet this need, we decided to release a new product based on adapted Upstream lessons. This allows classes that prefer the original Upstream to continue using it, while those who want shorter, daily lessons can use the new series.

Will the new lessons have teaching helps?
Yes. The new lessons will have teaching helps. Please note: Upstream teaching helps are available for years A, D, E, and F. We do not have teaching helps released for years B and C.

What is the content of the new youth lessons?
The content for the new lessons is based on the Upstream lessons. However, it will not follow exactly the same sequence because we are condensing the six-year Upstream curriculum into a 3-4 year cycle. Our topics for this coming year are as follows:
- First quarter: Prayer
- Second Quarter: Daniel
- Third quarter: Music
- Fourth quarter: Romans
